I grew interested some time ago in digital photography and became familiar with a number of computer graphic applications.
By experimenting with special effects, I was able to adapt different painting styles like oil effect, charcoal sketch,
grayscale smudge, and watercolor amongst others.
Digital art is based on photography. The transformation of digital imagery into paintings lends itself to artistic
interpretation. I use different media depending on the painting style or technique, for example, canvas paper complements
the use of oil effect.
So far I have used my technique mainly for paintings of private homes and unique landmarks in
my adopted city of Montreal. The experience taught me how the use of light in different seasons can reveal the essence
of an architectural design.
Thirty of my works were selected for a solo exhibition in 2003 by the Montreal Cultural Services Department at the
library in Beaconsfield, Quebec. The response has encouraged me to develop this web site for a wider audience. The navigation
bar above is based on the themes shown during my exhibition.

***Requirements
Printed photographs should be at least 3x5 or larger. If sending scanned images, they should be scanned from negatives
or slides at 1200 dpi or from prints at 300 dpi. If using images from a Digital Camera, it works best if the images can be
taken at the highest resolution setting that the camera can handle. Time frame Approximately 7 days to complete.
