The smaller version of the pictures on these pages doesn't really do justice to the paintings. The enlargement
shows details of each stroke. I hope you can imagine and appreciate the artistry of the full size 8"x 10" picture.
Autumn is one of my favourite seasons, even so I know Winter is never far behind. From an artistic point
of view, I find Fall to be the most dramatic time of year. The final selection of colors for foliage
is Nature's choice; we have no say and often that is what makes it so spectacular.
As I mentioned before, the paintings are based on digital imagery enhanced with special effects. With hundreds
of these effects from which to choose, that is why they only serve me as a tool like brush
techniques.
